24/7 Effective Communications for Extreme Marine Environments

Effective communications are essential to meet the 24/7 requirements of navy, coast guard, border force, law enforcement, search & rescue and commercial operators. This presentation looks at systems purposely designed to overcome the major obstacles to effective communicating at sea, including high wind and engine noise along with shock and vibration when operating in advanced sea states.

With over 20 years of experience in marine communications, along with state-of-the-art design and engineering resources in house, David Clark Company has developed a high level of expertise in electronics and noise cancelling for use in harsh maritime environments. Wired and wireless marine communication systems are designed with stainless steel hardware and watertight components to withstand the rigors of daily use at sea and the challenges of salt water.

Founded in 1935, David Clark Company Incorporated has provided communications equipment for numerous commercial and military aircraft around the world. Support for manned Apollo aerospace programs include the 1969 mission to the moon. The result of working to the standards required for leading edge space and aviation programs is a range of technology solutions that meet the highest levels of quality control. This same approach is carried across all defense and marine communication ranges.
