4 Hour Training Course - In Person or via Zoom / Teams

New for 2023 NEXT GEN Marine HYBRID brings together ICE with clean fuels, battery-electric and onshore infrastructure. From recent feedback these are topics people want to dive deeper into.

This cutting edge course has been developed to deliver in person or via Teams or Zoom for organisations working with sub 24m vessels. This knowledge is increasingly important for vessels in the 25m to 100m range.

This short, focussed course is designed to be relevant to ALL stakeholders involved in energy transition of surface vessels. This includes professional, commercial and military organisations along with companies that can deliver here and now solutions.

Applicable to supply and support sectors including original equipment manufacturers, distributors, boat builders, refit yards, engineers, naval architects, ports and marinas.

National, regional and local authorities can learn how to segment energy options for vessels operating in their waters from both a feasibility and technical perspective.

John Haynes - NEXT GEN Training Developer:

NEXT GEN Marine HYBRID builds on our experience of running a series of hybrid workshops since 2015 and working with literally hundreds of industry experts globally. The aim of innovative hybrid systems is to enhance conventional power and propulsion. Our objective has been to identify the potential of new technologies for specific tasks.

The course examines viable hybrid solutions including combined ICE plus battery-electric systems. The Hour Of Power is a simple concept that could reduce fuel costs and emissions by around 20% in maritime sectors globally. Vessels can improve fuel consumption whilst extending engine maintenance periods and engine life.

In half a day we can give an independent view on the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging technologies. For end-users and operators, discussions enable attendees to ask questions relevant to their vessel duty cycles and operating profiles. Technology providers can see where they fit into the solution.

NEXT GEN Marine HYBRID Training is delivered in 4 hours.

A CPD certificate is issued to each person attending.

3 focussed sessions include dynamic Q&A.
